Where we stay
Perched on a private peninsula in South Cornwall, this 3-night retreat invites you to escape into the peaceful rhythm of nature. The historic estate combines its medieval roots with a modern vision of simple, wild living, nestled within 300 acres of untouched regenerative farmland. With Dartmoor on the horizon and the tidal River Lynher wrapping around both sides, the landscape transforms with the river’s ebb and flow, offering a new view every day.
The air here is fresh, the land unspoiled. Buzzards, skylarks, and owls fill the sky, while ancient oaks covered in lichen stand as a testament to the purity of the environment. Without public footpaths, the land is yours to explore mindfully, offering private walks through woodland and along the river.
You'll enjoy cosy yet spacious indoor spaces offering stunning views, and plenty of places to relax, unwind, and reconnect. With options to stay in the main house, or a cute hut or cabin in the paddock, each room has en-suite of a private bathroom across the hallway.

Where we practice Yoga
We're truly spoilt for choice on this retreat! You’ll have the opportunity to practice in two incredible spaces – a 13th-century chapel or a spacious yurt. Both will be fully equipped with mats, blocks, and bolsters, and each morning and evening, one of these beautiful spaces will be set up, ready to welcome you.
Mornings will be more dynamic, with flowing Vinyasa-style classes to energise you for the day ahead. In the evenings, we’ll slow it down with more meditative practices like Yin, Nidra, or Restorative styles – perfect for winding down.
Every class will combine asana (posture and movement), pranayama (breathing techniques), and meditation, with some yoga philosophy woven in. Whether you're new to yoga or have been practicing for years, there are no prerequisites – just bring your curiosity and openness. The aim is for you to feel supported and free to explore your practice in your own way.
These classes are longer than what you'd typically find in a studio, giving us the space to go deeper into postures, alignment (and even debunking some alignment myths!), and explore the philosophy behind yoga.
We’re going to have a blast!

Getting there
Arrival is from 3pm on Saturday 24th May. Our retreat will be held just outside the village of Trematon, in a peaceful yet accessible location over the Cornwall border. Though remote, it's easy to reach by car or train.
Driving will give you the most flexibility, and there may be an optional to car pool – it’s also really useful for taking an afternoon trip to the nearby beach, or exploring Cornwall/Devon before or after the retreat.
Fast trains from London Paddington run directly to Saltash (the closest train station) in under 3 hours 45 minutes. If you’re coming from elsewhere, take a train to Plymouth, then change for Saltash. From Saltash, it’s a quick 10-minute taxi ride to the retreat. Alternatively, you can take a taxi directly from Plymouth to the retreat. We can plan it so people can share the taxi ride from the station.
